The Nordic Style has sobriety, elegance and functionality as its fundamental qualities. The importance given to spaces, forms and colors has many points in common with what is often classified as minimal style. Great importance is given to the environment spaciousness, with simple, square lines, bright and sober color shades, to create bright and open rooms, with a reference to the nature of the Scandinavian Countries.
This is highlighted by the use of light wood, present in large amounts in North European forests and used in abundance in any room of the house for furniture, surfaces, exposed beams and furnishing elements. The top coats must be opaque and give an absolutely natural aspect to the chosen wood.
